Who will shape Tennessee?

Every student on Tennessee’s campus is being formed by someone or something.

The WIN Center is a seven-day-a-week formation, equipping, and sending center for students at the University of Tennessee.

On the daily walk

Cumberland Avenue and the main routes to class pass within one block of the front door. The WIN Center sits inside the everyday path of campus life.

Surrounded by students

Fort Sanders rises to the north and the residence halls of campus spread to the south and east. Thousands of students sleep within a short walk.

Among the landmarks

Neyland Stadium, Ayres Hall, and the Student Union stand minutes away. This address places the vision on the map students already know.

The Need

Rewire the workforce for marketplace and ministry.

Today’s students are being discipled every day by something. The university shapes their worldview, social media shapes their values, and politics shapes their identity. The WIN Center will create a space for seven-day-a-week spiritual formation during this crucial time in their lives.

The Plan

Three kinds of equipping

Communal

Students talking over coffee at tables on a rooftop terrace, with the city behind them.

Students find their people here.

A space where students build real friendships and lasting support networks in an age when loneliness keeps rising.

The doors stay open seven days a week, with a coffee bar on the corner and room to study and stay.

Intentional

Every profession becomes Kingdom ministry.

Business leaders mentor students in professional formation and spiritual depth so they carry the Gospel into medicine, law, finance, and politics.

Christian founders coach future entrepreneurs, and students receive Biblical formation for life and mission in the workplace.

A business leader talking with two students over notebooks and a laptop at a coffee shop table.
Congregational

Young adults worshiping together, one with a hand raised and one with head bowed.

A church home one block off Cumberland.

Weekly worship built for young adults, where students find a church that challenges them to grow and win their world.

Worship gathers in the same building where students study and meet their mentors.

We will report the measures that matter to our partners every year.

Square footage and raw numbers of people through the door will never be the measure of this work. The measures that matter are students discipled, leaders placed, and churches and ventures launched. We will track each one from day one.
